Be a part of the Team at one of the largest greenhouse in Northwest Kansas!! We are looking for Sales Associates with plant knowledge expertise in perennials, annuals & shrubs. This is both a customer service and labor position, working in all weather conditions. Seasonal position is available.

 

Here is a list of some of the tasks you would perform:

• assist customers with plant selection in the garden center, with a primary focus in the annual & perennials

• restock plant benches, move plants, carry planters & hanging baskets, haul soil bags & carryout for customers

• unload trucks with deliveries 

• create attractive and educational merchandise displays

• maintain plants to include watering, planting, pruning, and deadheading

 

In addition to the above description, qualified candidates will possess these skills:

• plant identification and horticulture knowledge, specifically with perennials, trees, and shrubs

• knowledge of basic plant principles to assist customers with plant selections

• flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

• excellent communication and customer service skills

 

Required experience:

• horticulture or landscape design degree, training, or previous green industry experience a big plus.

 

Graphic Designer:

• coordinate and execute retail advertising & promotional efforts

• update social media on a daily basis

• take pictures and videos

• help advertise events and help with set up/clean up for events

 

 

Job Type:  SEASONAL ONLY (February – June), MUST be able to work DURING THE DAY & some weekends.
